It's my second purchase with the Wizard's Vault and the first time I'm disappointed with the dice set I've received. I was expecting bright red and orange like in the photos, but the "frosted" effect just looks like plastic that's been sitting in an attic for several generations and unearthed under layers of dust. I definitely don't recommend buying the frosted effect dice.

Colors can look different depending on lighting and on each monitor or screen, and we do our best to keep our photos as accurate as possible.

This was my first time buying sets with a matte finish, and I am impressed! It gives the appearance of more expensive frosted glass sets, without the price tag or fragility. The numbering also stands out and is easy to read. The shiny core adds subtle sparkle when it catches the light, giving a sense of depth. These dice pair beautifully with the Fire Opal set as well!
I do not have any use for those dice, but they looked so pretty I needed to buy them. Haven't been disappointed at all !

Good quality dice, however the matte finish gives the dice a slightly dusty appearance. I think the matte finish works better on the lighter colours of dice such as the white and sea foam. For darker colours like these red dice, I prefer the glossy finish.

I got this set for my dm, and everyone instantly noticed how unique and cool they looked. If you're worried about the look, don't be, they're gorgeous
This set was more foggy in person than it looks in the photos (especially compared to the other frosted sets we ordered which were all very pretty) which makes them look kind of dirty, but they were still pretty.
Love the look of the cloudy matte finish with the shiny material inside. Super fun for my fire genasi PC. :)
